We are delighted to announce our annual celebration of International Women’s Day. This year we have a wonderful line up of inspirational women from politics, business and entertainment. Join us at the Midland Hotel in Manchester to celebrate the achievements of women across the globe, to our society and their economy.

This year’s Yorkshire celebration of International Women’s Day will be in support of the Breakthrough Cancer North West Appeal and we will be entertained, inspired and reinvigorated by these speakers. So join us for a delicious two course lunch, refreshments and celebrate International Women’s Day with Forward Ladies.

Ariene Phillips
In a rare speaking appearance the choreographer and dancer, who was famously dropped from the Strictly Come Dancing judging panel, allegedly on age grounds, will be sharing her thoughts on her highly successful career, and talk about how she has overcome sexism and ageism.

Lady Catherine Meyer
Lady Catherine has had a life of changes. After her first marriage broke down her estranged husband abducted their two sons and refused to return them. Her ten year battle to gain access to them turned Catherine in to a campaigner for child protection. Through her access fight she married British ambassador of the USA, where living up in Washington she had a rare glimpse of many key moments of recent American history, from the Monica Lewinski affair to 9/11

Penny Mallory
The first women to race in the World Rally Championships and described as the ‘Female Jeremy Clarkson’ when presenting Top Gear, Penny knows how to succeed and believe in yourself.

This will be a unique opportunity to hear some of the best know speakers in the UK, talk about issues that directly effect women.
