An Open Exhibition organised by the Women’s Arts Association showing the diverse talents and productions of women working in the arts in Wales.
Since it began, the Women’s Arts Association has organised such exhibitions as part of its Arts Festivals in celebration of ‘International Women’s Day’. 2011 is a special year as it is the Global Centenary of the first honouring of 8th March as being ‘International Women’s Day’. It is a day supported by the United Nations and on this day throughout the world there are celebrations of women’s achievements and networking events where they affirm together their aspirations for the future.
