IWD events in Arnold Nottingham throughout March

We are a group of Women from Arnold in Nottingham who are planning some events to mark the 100 year anniversary of International Women’s Day.

Here’s the list of events we’re planning to celebrate the centenary of International Women’s Day

Thursday 3rd
Talk on Hobbucks Nature Reserve – Josie Blackstock
The Committee Room, Arnold Library 7pm

Saturday 5th
Stall
Arnold Front Street 10am-12pm

Sunday 6th
‘Footsteps of Nell Gwynne’- Walk and tree planting
Alexandra Lodge Bestwood Park 10am – 12 pm

Monday 7th
Exhibition of local photographs and stories
The Committee Room, Arnold Library (during opening hours)

Tuesday 8th
Film by Stephen Frears “St Ann’s”
Bonington Theatre 7-9 pm

Thursday 10th
Afternoon Tea – Meet interesting women of Arnold with a tale to tell.
The Committee Room, Arnold Library 2-4pm

Friday 18th
Meet Lillian Greenwood MP
Find how she juggles Parliament and 3 children.
The Committee Room, Arnold Library 7-9pm

Thursday 24th
Talk on Women and children affected by domestic violence and abuse.
Chris Cutland – WAIS Women’s Aid Integrated Services.
The Committee Room, Arnold Library 7-9pm

All events are free of charge.
