An event for all women living in Gateshead – There is such a thing as a free lunch!

Local comedienne and presenter Sue Sweeney from BBC Radio Newcastle is hosting an an inspirational day organised for Gateshead women.

The event on Tuesday 8 March 2011 will celebrate the 100th anniversary of International Women’s Day.

It’s designed for women looking for inspiration on how to run their own business and it will be an action packed, fun day.
* Try the new craze – Swishing, hosted by DaisyGreenEvents.co.uk – bring up to five items of clothing or accessories in good condition to swap and refresh your wardrobe for free.
* Watch a fashion show to see what to wear or what not to wear to interview – how to look good on a budget.
* Hear from ordinary women about how and why they are running their own businesses and to ask them questions about how they got started.
* Get top tips on a good CV to let us help you on the road to work.
* Try Zumba, a new way to get fit, and take part in an easy exercise demonstration
* Get a free health check.

What’s on offer?
* This free event includes a light lunch
* School friendly hours – 10am-3pm (you must be available all day)
