A conference to mark Commonwealth Day and the Centenary of International Women’s Day.
Monday March 14th 2011 from 10 am – 1.30 pm
Grand Committee Room, House of Commons

This event marks Commonwealth Day and the Centenary of International Women’s Day. It brings together Commonwealth, women’s and education NGOs to issue a call to action.

High level keynote speakers from across the Commonwealth will lead the debate on the role of women’s education in transforming our society. The conference will feed into policies in Commonwealth countries for women, education and social transformation.

This event is open to everyone committed to improving education for Commonwealth women. Admission is free but registration is essential.
